It was a D10T the blast crew had told HSE mining that there was going to be a blast and how far to get the gear out. There was a digger in there but no one hurd about that
HA ha ha sucked in, great communication between the blast crew and HSE Saraji mine site shift supervisor. Nothing like collartoral damage to a Cat D10T.. I'm glad i don't own it.So much for BMA's regard for sop's on their site.
This is typical HSE cowboy attitude. You probably didnt here about them smacking buckets together on 600 ton diggers or rolling dozers at Peak downs. Also how many companies have the project manager sacked on the spot? This is typical for HSE.
This Dozer was approximately 280m from the nearest loaded hole and the blast blew out a corner that was previously blasted and not taken into account that fly rock would blow out in that direction , all personal were out of the area.

This is a D 10T left in pit to close to blast zone it belonged to HSE Mining , blown up by BMA
fly rock got it...
I know BMA are cutting contractors as a result of the downturn, but this is a bit excessive...
Was left within 50 meters of a shot, the shot was fired without SSE approval or a sweep of the area. A D11 owned by HSE
